CAN 2025: Giant screens in Seine-Saint-Denis for the Morocco - Nigeria match
Seine-Saint-Denis is mobilizing for the end of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The department has confirmed the installation of fan zones with giant screens in Saint-Denis and Montreuil to allow residents to follow the final matches for free.
Three major events are planned to vibrate to the rhythm of African football:
• Wednesday, January 14 (Semi-finals): Senegal–Egypt at 6pm, followed by Morocco–Nigeria at 9pm.
• Saturday, January 17 (Third-place match): Match for 3rd place at 5pm (only in Saint-Denis).
• Sunday, January 18 (Final): Kick-off at 8pm.
Where to go?
Two main venues have been set up to welcome supporters:
• In Saint-Denis: At the Auguste-Delaune sports palace.
• In Montreuil: At the Arthur-Ashe sports center.
This initiative is led by the President of the Department, Stéphane Troussel, according to Le Parisien. By opening these spaces, the local authorities wish to offer a festive alternative to supporters, while marking their opposition to the ban on gatherings related to the Africa Cup of Nations on the Champs-Élysées. The goal is to guarantee a secure and accessible celebration space for these major international matches.
