Brussels Protesters Demand Justice for Teen Killed in Police Car Collision

Dressed in white, about a hundred people marched on Sunday, October 27, in Brussels, to pay tribute to Mehdi and demand, at the same time, justice for this 17-year-old boy who died brutally after being hit by a police car from the Brussels-Ixelles zone on August 20.
Many responded to the call for a peaceful white march by Mehdi’s family. After gathering at the Brouckère square in Brussels, they marched together to the Albertine square, reports Belga.
They were all wearing white t-shirts, sweatshirts and carrying white placards with the inscription "Justice for Mehdi"!
"We feel enormously supported and we hope that this support will last throughout the procedure to get the truth for my little brother," said Ayoub Bouda, 24, the victim’s older brother, gratefully.
His wish, he said, is that his young brother’s death not be classified as a simple incident. "He was a young person, a minor. He was not aware of everything and he died brutally. We would like to know the truth about his death, because we have not had any explanation. After that, we would like to get justice for him. He left too soon. Despite what we can say, he is the victim [...]," he had declared.
