Brussels Airport Opens COVID-19 Test Center for Travelers from High-Risk Areas

Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) and people of other nationalities arriving from a red zone will be required to undergo a PCR test at Brussels Airport, where a Covid-19 screening center called Test Centre opened this Monday, September 14.
"We have taken the initiative to install a test center at Brussels Airport to further strengthen the health measures against Covid-19 and thus contribute to public health. The results of these tests will be communicated to passengers very quickly. Testing is an essential element to allow the aviation sector, and the economy in general, to gradually emerge from the current slump without compromising health safety," explains Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport Company, to Air journal.
These PCR tests, whose results will be available within 24 hours, concern passengers returning from a red zone such as Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) and having an activation code, it is specified. Test Centre is open every day, including Sundays and public holidays, from 3:30 a.m. to midnight. The airline also plans to install a laboratory at the end of September, which will allow to obtain results in 3 hours for rapid tests and an average of 9 hours for standard tests.
