Brussels Airport Expands Holiday Routes, Including Morocco, After November Slump

After a sharp drop in passengers last November due to travel restrictions, Brussels Airport plans to make up for it by offering new connections to several destinations, including Morocco, during the upcoming Christmas holidays.
Brussels Airport has planned flights to popular destinations for travelers during the two-week holiday period. Among these is Morocco. In addition to the Kingdom, Spain, the Canary Islands, Portugal, Turkey and Poland are also included. The airport infrastructure has also planned the Gulf region, North America (Washington, New York, Montreal) and especially Kinshasa.
Contrary to passenger transport, freight has seen a remarkable increase. For the coming months, the Brussels airport platform wants to "play a major role in the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines" worldwide.
For Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport Company, the company has a pharma platform, the largest refrigerated space infrastructure (30,000 m²) in Europe. "It relies on about forty specialized logistics partners in the transport of pharmaceutical products at constant temperature. We have the expertise, infrastructure and equipment to play a major role in this public health issue on a global scale," he announced.
