British Tourist Rescued from Homelessness in Agadir Amid Morocco’s COVID-19 Lockdown

While the entire country is in total lockdown, a British national, in love with the country, is living a homeless life in Agadir, after refusing to return to Great Britain.
Taken care of by the Vigilance Committee in charge of managing the coronavirus pandemic, the British citizen was placed, on Sunday, April 5, in the Adult Homeless Shelter Center, opened the day before in the suburbs of Agadir.
It should be noted that on the initiative of the Wilaya of Agadir, the Homeless Shelter Center has been set up by the Agadir Vigilance Committee branch, with a capacity of 100 beds, including 10 for women. In addition to accommodation, the center provides food, medical care and psychological and social support to its residents.
