India Ria Amarteifio was born on September 17, 2001 in Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom, to a Ghanaian father and a German mother. She began her career as a child actress in the "the West End" series. In 2023, she became known to the public by playing Queen Charlotte in the historical drama on Netflix "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story". This is a spin-off series of The Bridgerton Chronicles, both creations of American filmmaker Shonda Rhimes.
