Bordeaux Airport Expands Routes: New Flights to Morocco and 33 Other Destinations

Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport has proposed 34 destinations for the end of the year, including Morocco. Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and Air Arabia are among the airlines that will operate flights to these destinations.
This flight program follows the gradual deconfinement announced by the French government. The Bordeaux airport offers 10 destinations in France from Mérignac: Ajaccio, Bastia, Brest, Figari, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris and Strasbourg; 20 destinations in Europe: Spain, the Canaries, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic and Switzerland, and finally four in North Africa: Bordeaux, Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech and Tunis, according to Air journal.
In total, 14 airlines will operate flights from the Hall A of the Bordeaux airport starting in mid-December: Air France, Air Arabia, Chalair, EasyJet, Iberia, KLM, Luxair, Royal Air Maroc, Ryanair, Tunisair, TUI, Transavia, Vueling and Volotea.
The airlines "have expanded their flight schedule from mid-December. The people of New Aquitaine will be able to find their loved ones and travel safely, thanks to the health measures put in place by the airlines in collaboration with the airport," a press release points out.
Flights to Europe will be operated "in compliance with the health protocols of each country". Passengers with a flight justification are offered the possibility to carry out the mandatory PCR tests to travel to certain countries in a screening center of the Bordeaux University Hospital and the Regional Health Agency open in Hall A from 9am to 5pm.
