Body of Missing Moroccan Man Found Buried in Brussels Industrial Park After 5-Year Search

Disappeared in December 2018, Mohamed Harrouchy was found on June 9 in Haren, in the Brussels region. His body was buried in an industrial park, according to the spokesman for the Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office.
A missing persons notice had been issued, following the disappearance, under undetermined circumstances, of Mohamed Harrouchy, aged 41, in Schaerbeek, the place where he had last been seen. He had not been heard from since December 9 last.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, quoted by RTL Info, "an investigating judge has taken over the case and the investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances in which this person died."
In February, an abandoned villa in Dilbeek was searched by the police, in the hope of finding his body. But the searches carried out by the Civil Protection proved unsuccessful.
Mohamed Harrouchy was the father of two children.
