Bidart Woman Sentenced for $400,000 Luxury Hotel Fraud in Morocco

The Bayonne judicial court on Tuesday, June 22, convicted a resident of Bidart for non-realization of a luxury hotel in the town of Oualidia, in Morocco. She is accused of having abused the trust of about a dozen of her friends to whom she defrauded nearly 400,000 euros.
After more than a month of deliberation, the verdict has finally been handed down. Marie-Christine, 54, tried before the Bayonne judicial court for embezzling 370,000 euros, was sentenced to ten months in prison with probation and a five-year ban on managing a commercial business, reports France Bleu.
