BFM TV Journalist Apologizes for Racist Comment During Chinese Coronavirus Tribute

"We would like to offer our sincere apologies to viewers following the unintentional broadcast of completely inappropriate remarks on set this morning," the channel tweeted. It accompanies the text with a video excerpt. In this excerpt, the presenter of the economic chronicle of BFM TV apologizes. "These inappropriate remarks were broadcast on air while I thought the microphones were off. I sincerely apologize for this," confessed Emmanuel Lechypre.
