Belgium Repatriates Three ISIS-Linked Women and Their Children from Turkey

Three women from Antwerp and six of their children will be repatriated from Turkey to Belgium on Wednesday, July 1st. These women, along with foreign fighters, had left for Syria to join the Islamic State group.
According to De Standaard and Het Nieuwsblad, they are Tatiana Wielandt (27 years old), Bouchra Abouallal (26 years old) and Nadia Baghouri (28 years old). The first two women could have already returned to the country in March but are still blocked due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The third woman is one of the foreign fighters who tried to force Belgium to organize a repatriation through fines, the same sources say.
Once repatriated, these three female jihadists will be incarcerated. The children, on the other hand, will be admitted to a hospital where they will be examined. The possibility of their care by their grandparents will then be evaluated.
