Belgian Steel Firm VM Steel Expands into Moroccan Market

VM Steel Maroc, this is the name of the subsidiary of the Van Meerbeek group in the kingdom. In a trio with K-Steel Service Senhadji & Trade (K-3S&T), it aims to become "the reference in the supply of steel products" for its customers.
Thus, VM Steel is setting foot in Morocco. "Morocco is indeed an incomparable axis of development to continue to develop the rest of VM Steel’s activity in Africa," specifies the press release, citing the company’s management. This choice, which is being made in these times of health crisis, reflects VM Steel’s determination to engage durably with its Moroccan partners in the perspective of an upcoming recovery that will benefit everyone.
VM Steel Maroc will take over all the activities of the Moroccan company, which had many exclusive partnerships for the supply of steel products (stainless steel screws and flanges, grinding balls & bars, welding consumables, rubber & lining, chamfering & drilling equipment, etc.). Likewise, the range includes flat, long and tubular products, as well as all accessories in various grades of carbon and stainless steel, adds the same source, stating that VM Steel relies on the two warehouses (5,000 m2 and 15,000 m2) located next to the port of Antwerp, for a rapid delivery of its products, at very advantageous prices for its partners. Not to mention unparalleled responsiveness and quality of service, offering both technical advice, logistics and financing.
A partner of major international steel producers, VM Steel is still today a Belgian family company, a member of the Van Meerbeeck group founded in 1875. In addition to standard grades of carbon and stainless steel, it stocks and markets a range of specialized AISI 904L stainless steel products.
