Belgian-Moroccan Boxer Extradited to Face Attempted Murder Charges

Wanted since early June for attempted murder and kidnapping by the Belgian federal police, the Belgian-Moroccan boxer Nabil Messaoudi has just been transferred to Belgium.
According to La Capitale, the Brussels public prosecutor’s office confirmed the extradition, on Wednesday, of the 23-year-old boxer. Nabil Messaoudi was the subject of a wanted notice issued since June by the police who suspected him in a case of murder and kidnapping.
After several months of research, it was only on September 2 last that the Belgian-Moroccan boxer who was living in Great Britain was arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport. He was extradited on September 14 to Belgium, where he was placed under an arrest warrant by the investigating judge on Friday, September 16.
Along with the boxer, the federal police already have three suspects in this case. They are all under arrest warrants from the investigating judge, pending the completion of the ongoing investigation.
