Basma Boussel explains the reasons for her divorce from Tamer Hosny

During her participation in a talk show program, Basma Boussel confided in the psychological pressures she faced during her relationship with the Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny. According to her, the fame of her ex-spouse was initially provocative, "because dozens of fans gathered in front of their house and asked her husband to separate from her."

The Moroccan singer turned fashion designer did not fail to mention the main reasons for her divorce from the Egyptian superstar. "We reached a point where we no longer knew how to communicate, the nature of Tamer’s work is difficult and always requires a lot of effort," she confided, assuring that she had suffered from depression. Turning to God was then the best therapy. "I performed the Umrah rituals three times in one year, I circled (the Kaaba), complained and, thank God, I came back satisfied," she rejoiced.

Boussel and Tamer had married in 2012. In April 2023, the famous stylist announced her divorce from the Egyptian singer. "Our divorce has been recorded. I will always have a lot of respect for Tamer. I wish us only happiness," Boussel had written on her Instagram account. A story that Hosni reposted on his own Instagram account. The couple had three children: Talyia, Amaya and Adam.
