Barcelona’s Ezzalzouli Extends Contract, Loaned to Osasuna for Season

After several months of uncertainty, Moroccan international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli has renewed his contract with FC Barcelona. But he will spend the season on loan at Osasuna.
The Moroccan full-back Ezzalzouli has extended his contract until 2026, the Catalan club announced. But the first season of this new contract, he will spend it on loan at Osasuna.
With this contract renewal followed by a loan, the player loses hope of joining the Barça senior team. According to some media, the arrival of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha have thwarted his chance. Like all players, he is also looking for a club that would give him more playing time in order to make him eligible for the Moroccan team for the World Cup.
It must be said that several clubs such as Elche, Villarreal and Real Valladolid expressed interest in the player, but they were met with refusal from Barça who hope to sell him for more in the future.
Abdessamad Ezzalzouli played 12 matches with the senior team last season, with one goal scored against three scored and seven assists provided with Barcelona Atletic, with whom he finished the season.
