US-Backed Forces Capture ISIS Widow Who Condemns America as ’True Terrorists’

"Evacuated from the last stronghold of the Islamic State in eastern Syria, the widow of one of the group’s fighters made no effort to conceal her hostility towards the United States as she surrendered to US-backed Syrian forces," Swichinfo affirms, citing Reuters as a source.

As she was being evacuated from Baghouz, near the Iraqi border, Um Walaa confided to Reuters TV: "This is not a war. I didn’t see any fighters, people taking up arms and waging jihad against America. No, I only saw America kill - a lot."

For her, the Islamic State has not terrorized anyone: "They used to say that we had frightened the world. Honestly, I didn’t see anything like that. I didn’t see that we had terrorized the world."

According to Swichinfo, such statements reflect the thoughts of all IS supporters who have fled. The same media also offers another point of view: "After subjecting large parts of Syria and Iraq to a regime whose distinctive features include massacres, sexual slavery and crucifixion, the Islamic State is about to lose its last populated territory."

However, Um Walaa has a rather special vision of the terrorist: "I wanted to see what was in Syria. And what I saw was terrorism. America kills a lot of people."
