Avignon Braces for Transit Disruptions Ahead of Morocco-Spain World Cup Match

Disruptions will be recorded on the Orizo (Avignon) transport network due to the round of 16 match of the Qatar World Cup between Morocco and Spain on Tuesday, December 6.
The city of Avignon wants to anticipate the triggering of riots after the Morocco-Spain match scheduled for Tuesday at 4 pm. The Orizo transport network will therefore experience major disruptions due to the match. It is therefore planned that the last tram will leave the Saint-Roch stop in Avignon at 5:30 pm and that the bus network will not serve the south of the ramparts at the same time, according to France Bleu. Traffic can resume normally after several hours.
The first match between Morocco and Spain took place on May 15, 1960 in Casablanca and ended in a draw (3-3). As for the last match between the Atlas Lions and La Roja, it dates back to the second day of the 2018 World Cup group stage and ended in a draw (2-2).
