Anderlecht Seeks to Offload Injury-Prone Midfielder Nacer Chadli Amid High Salary Concerns

The Belgian player of Moroccan origin, Nacer Chadli, is at odds with his club Anderlecht, which wants to do without his services. Long relegated to the bench due to frequent injuries, the Red Devil is too expensive in the eyes of the club’s officials.
Nothing is going well between the top management of Anderlecht and the Belgian-Moroccan attacking midfielder Nacer Chadli (30 years old). The latest events in Neerpede clearly confirm this observation. After several months of absence from the pitch due to injury and the Ramadan period, the Red Devil finally showed up for training as usual with his teammates. He behaved as if nothing had happened. For the player, it was necessary to make the supporters dream by making them believe that a solution was still possible, writes Dernière heure.
On the club’s side, Chadli is too expensive for Anderlecht. According to them, the player is often too injured to deserve this huge salary. The last appearance of the right-back dates back to May 30.
His teammates, back hastily from vacation, were preparing for the resumption of the Belgian championship scheduled for early August, which the right-back will not participate in. Chadli’s fate has already been sealed, he is no longer welcome on June 15 in Nerpede. His agents are already working to find him a new club. On his arrival, at the end of last month, the right-back, the only player to keep his mask on, headed for the building of the Neerpede complex to pick up his belongings.
In total, the passage of the Belgian-Moroccan in the club was only a mixed success. With only eight goals to his credit, he clearly did not bring added value to his club. He was very far from the title of Anderlecht’s best offensive player. Now recovered and ready to give his best, the interruption of the championship due to the coronavirus pandemic was of no great help to him.
