Air Europa Expands Morocco Routes: New Madrid-Casablanca Flights Launching June 1

The Spanish airline Air Europa will launch a new flight from the city of Madrid to Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca starting June 1st.
In a press release, the subsidiary of the Globalia group indicates that the flights will be operated by Embraer 195 aircraft with a capacity of 120 passengers and at a rate of 4 flights per week from June. The frequency should increase to 5 weekly flights in July and August, during the summer vacation period when demand from Moroccans of the world is very strong.
Air Europa should then reduce the frequency to twice a week from September, the press release does not specify, however, whether this air link will be maintained during the winter season.
In addition to Casablanca, the airline announces the strengthening of its flights to Marrakech-Menara airport with the move from June 1st to a daily flight, whereas it was offering up to 4 flights per week until now. Air Europa recalls having launched this destination in 2017. It is also not specified whether this frequency will be maintained beyond the summer season.
