Air Arabia Expands Global Reach Through Amadeus Booking Network
Air Arabia is expanding distribution of its flights through an agreement with Amadeus, announced on October 2. Signed at group level, the partnership—which includes its operations in Morocco—is intended to make it easier for agencies connected to the platform to book and manage trips.

Travel professionals will be able to view and book Air Arabia’s offerings through their usual tools, alongside flights from other airlines. The group is seeking to reach more customers through the international network of travel sellers on Amadeus.

The change concerns the sales channel. Agency systems will be connected in real time to the airline’s systems, using a process adapted to low-cost carriers. For agents, Air Arabia’s offerings will appear on the same screen as the other content they sell.
This expansion builds on a Moroccan network already serving several European markets. For summer 2026, Air Arabia Maroc had notably planned to increase services between Casablanca and Italy, as well as between Tangier and Amsterdam, Barcelona and Lyon.
Agencies already took part in selling tickets for the Moroccan subsidiary. During its sales campaign announced in September 2025, the airline offered several booking channels: its website, app, call centres and partner agencies. The agreement with Amadeus expands distribution to travel professionals.
Agencies will also be able to assist passengers
Amadeus is highlighting support after booking. According to Maher Koubaa, head of its travel business, customers will be able to get help from agencies to change their trip, deal with a disruption, request a refund or postpone their departure.
For Adel Al Ali, Air Arabia’s chief executive, the partnership supports the group’s growth by extending its international commercial presence. The operator carries more than 20 million passengers a year and serves more than 200 routes from its bases in the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Egypt and Pakistan.

Amadeus also works with Royal Air Maroc. In August 2024, the two companies announced a partnership focused on travellers’ digital journey: booking, check-in, purchasing additional services and finding replacement flights through a new mobile interface.
