Air Arabia Doubles Flights Between Tangier and Agadir, Maintains Subsidized Fares

The partnership between the council of the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma region, the Souss-Massa region and the airline Air Arabia has been renewed a few months before its expiration (2021). The Tangier-Agadir links have been increased in this new agreement.
The air link connecting the capitals of the two regions, Tangier and Agadir, is thus maintained. According to the new agreement, the weekly frequencies have increased from 2 to 4, reports L’Économiste. Similarly, this agreement provides for the sale of tickets at a subsidized price of 300 DH, which can be revised upwards if the price of a barrel exceeds $60. The regional council provides a financial contribution of more than 6 million DH.
By increasing these links, the regional council intends on the one hand to promote domestic tourism and on the other hand to boost the socio-economic development of these destinations.
