Ahmed Laaouej Re-elected as Brussels Socialist Party Federation President with 86% Support

The only candidate for his succession, the Moroccan Ahmed Laaouej has regained his position as president of the Brussels Federation of the Socialist Party (PS), following the vote that took place on Saturday, March 11.
The Moroccan Ahmed Laaouej was re-elected on Saturday with 86.1% of the votes cast. A result that reflects the confidence that the PS militants place in him, he declared while thanking the latter. "This also constitutes recognition for the work accomplished," reports Belga.
He emphasizes that the Brussels socialist party is thus "united for the next elections". Ahmed Laaouej places his new term under the sign of "social justice, social cohesion, housing, employment, and support for the most vulnerable".
