African Diaspora in France: 40% Ready to Return for Career Opportunities

The survey on "The professional attractiveness of the African continent for graduates and executives of the diaspora" reveals that 40% of Africans living in France are ready to return to work in Africa immediately.
A survey conducted in this perspective by the "Intelcia" group and the "Innocence Consulting" study firm, carried out among 800 people, has clearly demonstrated this.
The entrepreneurial adventure is clearly the primary professional motivation factor for a return to Africa for 62% of the members of the diaspora. 43% of respondents want to start immediately after their return.
The study aimed to identify the motivations and obstacles for a young graduate to work in Africa. Indeed, Nearly 71% plan to return to work on the continent within 10 years. Those from sub-Saharan Africa are the most inclined to return within 5 years (58%) compared to nationals of the Maghreb (41%), the survey insists.
They are also 45% among the 24-27 year olds to want to settle or resettle in Africa immediately, compared to 41% for the 28-35 year olds and 42% for those over 35.
Also, more than 40% of young people are targeting professional opportunities in Africa within African multinationals (51%), African startups (36%) and international organizations (38%).
