Actress Hiba Abouk Confirms Divorce from Soccer Star Achraf Hakimi Amid Legal Controversy

Hiba Abouk states that the couple made the decision to end their relationship, i.e. to divorce, before the accusations against him came to light, insisting that the events that led to this situation are totally independent of her will.

The Tunisian-born actress also emphasizes that she is a staunch defender of victims’ rights and that, in this specific case, she has full confidence in justice to shed light on the accusations against Achraf Hakimi, finally asking the media and the public to respect her privacy as well as that of her children, who are her absolute priority in these delicate circumstances.

To recall, a 24-year-old woman presented herself at the police station in Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) and declared that she had been raped by the Moroccan defender at his home on February 25. The alleged victim did not file a complaint, but the Nanterre prosecutor’s office took up the case on its own.
