Mentally Ill Suspect Arrested in Fatal Stabbing of Young Girl in Casablanca

According to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the defendant, a 41-year-old vagrant, stabbed the victim with a bladed weapon near her home in Hay Laafou (Derb Kabir), for no apparent reason.

The murder weapon was seized and an investigation was immediately opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to elucidate the circumstances and causes of this crime. According to the initial elements of the investigation, the individual shows signs of mental illness.
